system engineering that will utilize my diagnostic and analytical
skills to their potential.
SUMMARY OF EXPERIENCE
Ms. Murphy-Smith is a Principal Consultant with Keane Federal Systems,
Inc., with 14 years of experience in software maintenance,
acquisition, and system administration for the Department of Defense
(DoD). She has extensive experience in networking and integrating
disparate types of equipment (SUN, PC, DEC), and is excellent at
diagnosing and solving system and network performance problems,
particularly e-mail problems. Ms. Murphy-Smith was also a lead
auditor for the DoD Year 2000 Independent Verification and
Validation (IV&V) audits that helped ensure that essential DoD systems
continued functioning correctly through the rollover to 2000. She
currently performs network and system monitoring and analysis for a
DoD client using common UNIX performance monitoring tools and the
Aurora Software utility SarCheck, and created the shell scripts and
procedures to convert e-mail formats for the organizational-wide
transition from UNIX to NT. Ms. Murphy-Smith also has experience in
team leadership and first-level management, and currently leads a team
of four consultants.

* Taught Microsoft products (Windows, Word, PowerPoint) in formal DoD
