Professional Experience
1998 - 2012 Director of Electronic Services and Project Management
Ivize Services, Inc., Kansas City, MO
I began my career as a Project Manager at Researchers, in Tucson, AZ, where we provided bibliographic coding services. I specialized in complex and sensitive matters, sometimes involving criminal or high-profile cases. I had advanced to the position of General Manager when the company was acquired by OmniDox in 2001.
The OmniDox acquisition resulted in my move to Kansas City, MO. I was tasked with bringing Project Management to the KC branch, ultimately restructuring the Sales to Operations workflow. I established the use of formal Statements of Work, Change Orders, and other tracking utilities. In addition, I standardized internal and external communications, and enforced the usage of web-based documentation systems. Through the procedural changes and Operations overhaul, profits increased. The company was acquired by Compex Litigation Support in 2005.
I continued my efforts with Compex - hiring, training and supporting Project Managers in our key markets. I was also developing the company`s electronic discovery service offering during this time and was ultimately promoted to `National Director of Electronic Discovery and Project Management`. The company was acquired by Ivize in 2008.
With Ivize, I continued all of the aforementioned responsibilities, adding the direct management and training of the electronic discovery processing team, developing new processing and quality control protocols, and creating customized training programs for the 1) Production Partners; 2) Operations Managers; 3) Managing Partners; and 4) Sales Executives. In addition, I acted as the sole IT administrator for the Kansas City branch and for the Data Center, while concurrently developing the company`s Computer Forensics department.
