Negotiated planned maintenance agreements & extended warranties on generators and transfer switches, negotiated renewal agreements, and wrote quotes and proposals for engine-generator repairs. 1/97-6/01 (11/99-6/01) Transferred to WESCO Distribution regional office in Richmond VA after promotion to Materials Management and Procurement team, supporting electrical utilities and contractors. As part of a 4 to 8 member team, responsible for approximately $40 million inventory spread across twenty branches throughout the Eastern and Central U.S. Purchased pole line hardware from Joslyn, Hubbell, Maclean, Cooper, and other suppliers, as well as distribution and instrument transformers from ABB. (12/98-11/99) Promoted to Outside Sales for WESCO Distribution, with sales territory covering lower third of Michigan, calling on electrical utilities and utility contractors. As part of a three-member sales team, improved sales 28% in 1999. Duties included training of replacement on the inside sales desk, and overseeing preparation of major blanket quotations.

(1/97-12/98) Hired by WESCO Distribution to establish branch operations (inside sales support) in Lower Michigan. Supported electrical utilities and utility contractors. As part of a two-member sales team, improved sales by 53% in 1997 and 33% in 1998. Developed quotations package for customers using Excel spreadsheet.
