Senior Design Project: Create an adjustable computer height desk with ultrasonic sensors. The purpose of this project was to create a sit-stand work station for when you are tired of sitting down you can stand up and the desk will lift to where the computer desktop or laptop is at your eye level using a linear actuator as the lifting mechanism and a microcontroller where the sensors will be connected to an integrated circuit within the controller, which will allow the motor to be powered on once the sensors detect motion.

DC Motor Driven Cart Control: Model the behavior of a cart driven by a DC motor and use that model to design a controller for the system. The cart is equipped with an encoder gear to track its position as it slides along a stainless steel shaft, with the motor providing power via a rack and pinion mechanism.
