Professional skills
Research areas The focus of my research is the theoretical study of molecules in strong
laser fields. My main areas of interest are:
Calculation of ionization and high-order harmonic generation sig-
nals from molecules,
Exploring controlability of external and internal degrees of freedom
of molecules with infrared (IR) and extreme ultraviolet (XUV) laser
fields, e.g., alignment, orientation and vibration,
Investigating the possibility of experimentally imaging the vibra-
tional motion of molecules,
Studying of limitations of theoretical models that ignore for instan-
ce nuclear motion, multi-electron effects or the long-range character
of the Coulomb potential.
In addition I plan to investigate the physics of conical intersections as
well as laser controlled molecular junctions.
Technical skills I have experience with various analytical and numerical techniques, in-
cluding
Basis/close coupling method,
Strong-field approximation,
Grid methods.
Extensive experience collaborating with experimental groups, including
Femtolab at University of Aarhus and groups at the J. R. Macdonald
Laboratory, Kansas State University, Manhattan, Kansas, USA.
Computer Experienced user of Windows, Linux and OS X.
Experienced Fortran programmer.
A
Experienced user of LT X, Emacs, Gnuplot, Matlab, GAMESS-US, MS-
E
O ce, iWorks, Adobe Illustrator and Dreamweaver.
Good knowledge of Perl, Basic and Java.
