Jayathirth K., PLSQL Developer, Humana

reported to Barry at Humana

I worked with Barry directly for almost 7 years and he reported to me for almost 4. He

is the epitome of innovation. He is always looking for new ways to do things and leads

others in implementing these ideas.

And while his ideas are usually close to his Oracle database comfort zone, he has

considerable potential well beyond any particular technology or platform. Barry thinks

beyond what is asked and considers the actual need, and sometimes the unrealized and

undefined need.

Like his teammates, his commitment to consistent delivery is not exceeded. He understands

the importance of operational excellence and uses his creativity to propel that

excellence, not hinder it.

Barry would be a valuable contributor to any team or project. November 27, 2011

3rd Tejas R., Consultant, TCS

reported to Barry at Humana

Barry is very thorough and innovative. He takes a project to a high notch with his

proactive thinking and hard work. In all the years I have worked with him, he has been a

source of inspiration to go above and beyond the limitation of scope. For example the HR

Data feed. He created the dynamic api which can accept different criteria and provide

desired result in fraction of seconds. If the same work was applied per project the effort

can go into months/years but he created this flexible and reliable approach which can be

adapted by any project. It's always a joy working with him. September 29, 2011

his technical approaches/solutions have not only stood the test of time, but have been

shared with other companies as well in a 'best practice' forum. July 27, 2011
