STRATEGIC PLANNER At Special Operations Command-Pacific, led a team of 40 military

QUALIFICATIONS planners to produce a 10-year Strategy for Special Operations

employment in the Pacific region. Developed supporting Theater

Campaign Plan and Country Action Plans to operationalize this

Strategy for South Asia, Southeast Asia, Northeast Asia, and Oceana.

The Commander cited this body of work as his blueprint for regional

security cooperation and his multi-lateral engagement priorities.

Hosted int l conf in Honolulu to socialize Strategy with US allies in the

Pacific region.

PROJECT Staffed, coordinated, and produced the first-ever Special Operations

MANAGEMENT Annual Deployment Order for US Special Operations Command.

QUALIFICATIONS Approved by Secretary of Defense. This body of work codified and

synchronized the Special Operations forces deployed globally in

support of each Theater Commander. Hosted large conferences to

bring stakeholders together, adjudicate disputes, and compel

consensus. Performed a Strategic Risk Assessment for the 4-star

Combatant Commander to help him articulate the risks associated with

these deployments to the Secretary of Defense.

LEADER Instructor qualified at US Army Special Warfare Center and School.

DEVELOPMENT & Company Commander for the Special Forces Officer Qualification

TRAINING Course, the Army s premier special operations laboratory. Mentored

QUALIFICATIONS and evaluated 60 aspiring Green Beret captains; subject matter expert

on Unconventional Warfare doctrine and execution. Developed and

taught this highly specialized curriculum and carefully selected the best

(top 1% of Army officer corps) for matriculation into Special Forces.

LEADERSHIP Green Beret A-Team Commander; commanded two uniquely different

QUALIFICATIONS Special Forces A-teams (193, 176) with 1st Special Forces Group

(Airborne); Developed a Southeast Asian orientation and expertise.

Conducted intensive cultural and tactical pre-deployment training in

order to effectively employ these A-teams on 7 separate deployments

(60 days each) to Thailand. Managed execution of all bi-lateral

training, and was primary US liaison with Royal Thai Army leadership.

Served as a de-facto US ambassador, directly enhanced US-Thai

relations, and achieved increased military inter-operability.
