OTHER ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Team Member that reviewed Tropicana`s (Bradenton, Florida) ammonia equipment and safety processes for the refrigeration department. Also, performed Hazard Analysis and communicated to corporate. This was the beginning of OSHA`s requirements for any company over 10,000 pounds of ammonia on site, Tropicana had 400,000 lbs. (The largest ammonia refrigeration department in the country.) This effectively changed Tropicana`s operations from then on.

Created and implemented an energy reduction plan that resulted in a $126,000 monthly savings for Tropicana by better utilizing equipment and reducing the need to run large compressors in peak demand times.

As ConAgra Utilities Manager reduced water usage by 300,000 gallons per day.

Instituted a reliability based maintenance program within the refrigeration department of ConAgra which resulted in a 25% increase in uptime for equipment.

Acted as Hazmat Incident Commander for ConAgra Plant.
