I joined this privately owned utility service contractor in 2007. The company won a 5 year contract with

Southern Company to install 2.5 million electrical meters and anticipated revenues increasing

immediately in excess of 300%. I was tasked with converting the company from cash to accrual

accounting and implementing GAAP procedures.

Directed all the financial activities of the corporation, including preparation of current financial reports as

well as summaries and forecasts for future business growth and general economic outlook. Worked

with Senior Management to coordinate and prioritize planning. Responsibilities included oversight of

accounting, cash management, risk management, banking relationships, information technology,

human resources, and payroll operations.

The ultimate goal of the owner of Lepservice was to sell the company. I was instrumental in preparing

the company for the due diligence process. The company was purchased by a private equity firm in

mid 2010 at above market multiples and I was asked to stay on as Controller. I was instrumental in the

integration of additional acquisitions as well as putting processes in place for this growth company.

CFO/Controller Belt Power Corporation 2003 - 2007

I joined this distributor and fabricator of conveyor belting and components in January of 2003 and

played a hands-on role in growing the company from $6 million in sales to $15 million annually. The

company was successfully sold to a private equity firm for an above market multiple in 2007.

As CFO/Controller I directed all the financial activities of the corporation, including preparation of current

financial reports as well as summaries and forecasts for future business growth. The position included

oversight of accounting, cash management, risk management, banking relationships, information

technology, human resources, and payroll operations.

Implemented a new industry specific ERP accounting software system converting what was essentially

a manual accounting system into a fully automated order entry/inventory control accounting system.

Integrated one acquisition into this platform.

Designed, developed and implemented a company web site that increased site traffic and internet sales

by over 1000%. This included a database driven catalog of the company s product line.

Developed and implemented various pricing programs and processes for the company s various product

lines.

Systems Analyst Compusource Corporation 2001 - 2003

Provided services for all aspects of corporate software and hardware installations including consulting,

systems analysis & design, programming & software development, operating system support, hardware

& software trouble-shooting, user training, and remote system administration. Provided specific

expertise in hardware, operating systems, networking, and connectivity issues, for internal operations

and client support.

Utilized accounting knowledge while providing installation, implementation, and system integration,

training and ongoing support services for industry specific accounting systems including modules for

General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Order Entry, Job

Costing, Sales Tracking and Reporting.

Maintained a corporate intranet site including support knowledge base, administration database and

sales database utilizing HTML, VBScript, JavaScript, and ASP.

Designed, implemented and administered customer networks using Windows and UNIX Systems.

Chief Financial Officer Residential Funding Group, Inc. 1993 - 2000

Played a pivotal role in start-up, planning and development activities that allowed this mortgage

brokerage company to grow from infancy to $5 million per year.

Held responsibility for the supervision of a team encompassing up to 30 sales and technical

professionals and directed the activities of administrative staff members.

Maintained accountability for such integral concerns as technology, recruiting, training, marketing,

accounting, processing and loan closing activities within a mortgage company.

Orchestrated the opening of a company s 1st branch office and spearheaded efforts that achieved the

largest production levels of all corporate offices.

Commercial Lending Officer 1983 - 1993

Employed by Government and Private lending institutions during this period as a loan officer/business

development executive and Senior VP. Employers include The US Small Business Administration, ITT

Commercial Finance and Central Gwinnett Bank.

Directed business development activities and oversaw the sale of financial lending products to diverse

customer base of small business owners.

Implemented the small business/commercial lending department for two lenders that became the most

profitable department within those institutions. Responsible for business origination, financial analysis,

loan closing activities, and servicing of existing accounts.
