Description: Network Appliance, Inc. (NetApp) is a world leader in unified storage

solutions for today s data-intensive enterprise;

Netapp has approx 15 applications and out of them infogain is working on 10. I have been

actively involved in 2 applications i.e. CED, HRAF.

CED: Central Employee Directory (CED) is a J2EE application that holds information about

all NetApp employees. This application serves as a service provider to other J2EE

application like HRAF.

These J2EE applications interact with CED using the APIs provided as part of CED

HRAF: Human Resource Action Forms (HRAF) caters to the activities carried out by Human

Resource department. The application automates the process of hiring a new employee,

terminating an existing employee, modifying an employee info, signing up for upcoming

trainings, changing cubes, changing the name & address, replacing the access cards/badges

and creating/disabling HRAF system accounts. Email notifications are sent to concerned

persons once the request is processed.

Description: Nano-Mission Project Management System (PMS) is a Project Management System

that is designed to meet the needs of each individual business while submitting the

Projects (R & D Papers) on Nano Technology. This application provides the facility to

submit the project related with Nano Technology accepted by Nano-Mission Organization and

further processing. Also, Shell Script were written which used to invoke a batch program

which takes data from a database, which again invokes a shell script which creates UNIX

users according to data fetch and invokes a java program that alert a group about account

creation of a user, and enter that record in different database. In this application any

principle investigator can submit his Project detail with online submission form. He can

upload the project doc till 2 MB capacity while filling online submission form. A Project

Officer will can take several design as Accept, Reject or Forward to other etc. Any design

taken by PO, the PI will be intimated by an auto generate mail. This application is

maintaining 7 type of Role
