Application Developer, Production Support Department December, 1999 June 2012 Participated in critical new System release rollouts for over two dozen highly visible and dedicated clients. Scoped out new projects such as adding a new VSAM file to the companys purge and pull down process. This required changing or writing programs, modifying JCL, and updating control cards and procedures. Acted as key member of the 2nd shift support team and provided tier 1 and tier 2 level support for 15 nightly cycles. This was an extremely high visible and dynamic position as millions of dollars are processed nightly. Responsible for researching and trouble shooting cycle issues/bugs in a fast, efficient, and timely manner to ensure the morning onlines are up and client SLAs are met. The support also required acute multitasking as issues tended to occur simultaneously. Hot issues were escalated to the manager on call. Worked with important clients to research and resolve crucial NDM/FTP transmissions failures. Watched for errant scheduling loops to ensure there were no interruptions in the nightly cycles.
