Opened the prototype clinic for the Dermacare franchise system, created all operations manuals, established marketing, management and technology requirements, selected software system for nationwide implementation, tested multiple forms of laser and light technology to determine best in class efficacy.
Tracked and complied with the regulations of all 50 states, including On site Physician requirements, scope of practice for Physicians, NP's, PA's, RN's, and Aestheticians. Selected Dermacare private labeled skin care product line, along with attorney's created and wrote FTC required Uniform Offering Circular.
Program Management:
Developed the franchise sales program for Dermacare, including demographic studies, site location, lease negotiations, build out, lease negotiations, pre, grand and post opening marketing programs, hiring and training of staff. Developed the medical and management 2 week training program at the corporate offices.
Marketing, Advertising, and Public Relations:
Tested a large number of marketing vehicles in the prototype office including multiple forms of direct mail, newspaper and magazine display ads, radio and TV commercials, PR releases,, 100 page web site with streaming video, SEO, pay per click, worked with news stations for over 20 news appearances, to development a marketing template for each franchisee to implement.
Implemented marketing program for franchisees in close to 40 markets nationwide, created all graphic design in house, worked with news media to get Physicians on the news, negotiated advertising contracts with national vendors, created custom graphic design pieces for each new franchisee, created custom web page on corporate site for each franchisee.
