- Currently working as a Software Engineer on an undisclosed

project in partnership with Siemens Home and Office

Communications (since Sep, 2006);

- As a Software Architect and Technical Leader, the most

important project was the LinuX [sic] Mobile Phone Manager

(XMPM), a BenQ-Siemens/Mandriva project. The team (10-15

developers) was responsible for the low-level components

(implementation of communication protocols such as SyncML,

IrMC, Obex, NFS and GSM ATC) and integration with the Linux

environment (KDE PIM synchronization, installer, etc).

2004-2006]

- Extensive contributions to the development of the

Conectiva Linux Distribution (from version 7.0 to 10.0),

working on the integration and packaging of different

open-source projects and Linux technologies (2001-2004)

- Responsible for a major refactoring on Conectiva

Training material, working as an editor and writer

(2004).

Security Analyst and Consultant, being part of the team

responsible for the security of Conectiva Linux and other

Conectiva products (2002-2004);

Before 2001, worked on free-lance jobs as linux and network

administrator and instructor.

Open Source Contributions:

- Conectiva Linux distribution and several projects used by it;

- Co-author of sniffdet, a remote sniffers detector for TCP/IP

networks: http://sniffdet.sourceforge.net;

- XFree86 SiS video driver on XFree86 4.1;
