Executive Summary:
With over ten years of experience in the computer and network systems industry, I provide
a high level of competency in software and system design, development, and deployment. I
am a high-energy, well-focused leader with a solid technical direction, dynamic

Commissioned to assist in the design, development, implementation, and support of
comprehensive systems and software resources for management of the NASA Integrated
Services Network (NISN). Responsibilities include developing business strategies and
projects and communicating expectations and deadlines to employees. Led development
efforts relative to network management including coordinated deployment schedules,
customer review sessions, software review, and deadlines.
Led integration of customer and commercial tools including NetCool, network data
visualization tools, and custom data acquisition and display. Also responsible for
deployment and management of advanced system administration techniques including Solaris
enterprise technologies such as IP MultiPathing (IPMP), Dynamic Reconfiguration (DR),
Jumpstart and Flash Archive installations, and Sun Management Center.
Awards include a corporate Core Values Quarterly Award and several other outstanding

Network Manager :: May 1997 - June 1999
Directed a group of employees in maintaining, installing, and developing services and
programs for a division-wide SAP on HP-UX implementation, Windows NT rollout, Linux server
deployments, Novell Netware upgrades, and LAN/WAN reconfiguration projects. Other
responsibilities included producing a yearly budget, setting employee goals and
priorities, and communicating with vendors.
Administered SAP business systems on high-availability HP-UX K-class servers design with
EMC Symmetrix storage arrays. This responsibility included managing all aspects related to
data backup, Oracle process management, DNS, web services, e-mail, printer management,
NIS+, and other related tasks.
Awards include 4 Special Recognition awards and several other outstanding accomplishment

Managed volunteers working on systems and was responsible for overseeing all server and
