Senior Product Development Manager Kids Shoe Division

Effectively managed the Crocs kids program for multiple successful seasons from conceptual design through

manufacturing release with Asia counterparts and US.

Developed Kids Licensed and Non-Licensed product from design concept through manufacturing release,

including last development, 3D CAD analysis, sample teardown, fit testing and final confirmation approval.

Popular selling 2011/2012 styles include Kids Hover Sneaks and Hi-Tops, Dawson Sneaker and Clog

Licensed products.

Lead developer of innovation. Started the development for the successful Crocs Chameleons franchise

with the induction of the Crocs Chameleons Clog and Shirley. Sales between these two initial styles

grossed over $1.0MM in the first 4 weeks of sales and launched one year ahead of initial schedule.

Developed alternative to PVC on kids non-licensed and licensed footwear removing all PVC material out of

Crocs shoes by 2013 product lines.

Worked in Crocs China manufacturing facilities for 4 months in 2010/2011 developing new product and

gaining a multitude of knowledge in shoe manufacturing and Crocs/supplier processes including EVA

injection, upper pattern making, last development, multiple shoe assembly processes and textile, rubber,

PVC micro-injection, LED and PU manufacturing.

Specially tasked by upper management to drive and create the process flow for the Jibbitz accessories line

and Jibbitz by Crocs footwear in conjunction with developing all 2012/2013 Jibbitz Accessories

(including purses, cell phone cases and gift/novelty items) and Jibbitz by Crocs shoes sold in Target stores

across the United States.

Project Management Specialist Boys Division - Hot Wheels

Dedicated to effectively managing US design, graphics, marketing, and packaging teams as well as Asia-Pacific

manufacturing teams to successfully launch new Hot Wheels Adult Collector premium product lines.

Recruited by upper management to be one of three people to pilot the Mattel development hybrid program,

which involved combining cross-functional roles and training colleagues and new hires in the areas of

product development engineering, manufacturing and costing.

Successfully launched a minimum of 5 different Adult Collector lines with a minimum of 35 toys per line

each year, 0 to 1 week prior to required launch avail targets, 2% below target costs and within an average

operating profit of 48%.

Conducted the relocation of Hot Wheels most premium toy line (The Red Line Club) from China to

Thailand by moving manufacturing resources and spending 6 weeks in Asia, at the request of plant GM, to

train the production staff and optimize production operations this led to an average overall product cost

savings of 10%.

Took part in the first successful overseas Concept Approval milestone decreasing development lead times

from 4 weeks to 1 week.

Effectively negotiated and cultivated relationships between China, Malaysia and Thailand development and

manufacturing teams to mirror each other s successful digital tool development, streamline the design

process and decrease tool costs and capital investment by 10%.

Developed a pad printing template and graphic fusion database to educate project management, graphic and

design colleagues for effectively cost targeting new projects and maintaining existing project costs.
