Extensive finance, site operations, food service liaison, and project management experience working closely with the Office of the CEO of an $8 billion global corporation, reporting through to the CFO. Proven leader in financial analysis and management of site operations departments with annual budgets over $40 million. Manager of various site departments at BDaaas 950,000 sq.ft. Corporate HQ on 143 acres located in northern New Jersey. Responsible for delivering the following services to a campus population of 2,500: food service, special functions, reception and conference management for over 80 rooms, audio visual and telephony services. Directed 7 BD Associates, 35 outsourced contractors.

aa Financially managed over $100 million in capital to upgrade audio, video and conference room service delivery equipment, allowing the majority of executive and associate functions to be hosted onsite, maximizing executive and associate efficiency and financial savings.

aa Responsible for the operational design and financial management of the five time award winning BD Campus Center building opened in 2008, which consolidated all food service into a single point of delivery, allowing expanded food variety and cost efficiencies.

aa Introduced a world class food service vendor and reduced overall subsidy by 40% despite national food inflation and extensive fresh food offerings added.

aa Core Team Member of BDaaas: Healthy Lives Steering Team, instituting healthy food choices into the cafA(c), catering and vending offerings.

aa Managed a cross functional team to develop and implement a Virtual Contact Center for all call centers onsite, allowing phone, fax and email transmissions to be seen as a data file. Several years later, this capability became the basis of the Companyaaas transition to a regional service center.

Within two years, this budget was reduced by 40% though directed chargebacks, outsourcing and overall cost and project management. Developed zero based annual budget (well below accepted budget increase). NEVER missed a budget target, despite quarterly revisions/reductions mandated by management over ten years.

aa PMES created a aaECenter of Excellenceaaa across the Company, providing aaEproject team basedaaa assistance to all new capital and facility related projects.

aa Developed a financial database to manage all PMES transactions from commitment though payment, providing historical analyses and decision tools when needed.

aa PMES managed all contract bidding, procurement and contract completion with inside counsel.

Project Controller, PMES (1989-1994)

Responsible for developing and issuing monthly financial forecasts to senior management on all global construction projects over $25 million, during the greatest capital expansion in BD history.

aa Developed scope change approval policy, implemented detailed capital policy and forecast guidelines for use at all plants.

aa Directly managed the construction of the Division HQ building in NJ, a five building complex in MD, the R&D HQ in CA and real estate activity for all the NJ locations closed via consolidation to the Franklin Lakes facility.

Supervised and conducted international and domestic audits. When a construction project in England developed financial issues, Audit was brought in to determine the underlying cause and recommend solutions. My report led management to develop the Project Controller position (above).
