IT enablement of Divestitures (Jaguar and Land Rover, Volvo Car Corporation, Mazda):

• Managed the Delivery of IT infrastructure and applications systems to the divestiture as part of

multimillion dollar enterprise level IT Programs. Delivered specialized tools for protection of

Intellectual Property of shared data between Ford and the divestitures and ongoing bidirectional,

secure sharing of data post separation.

• Managed the timing, quality and budget constraints by judicious use of in-house and vendor resources

and closely monitoring cross work stream dependencies (Enterprise Security Systems, HR Systems

and Infrastructure streams)

• Implemented of a standalone Enterprise Data Management system along with clone of several

and Auditing, Digital File Based Buck) at the divestiture along with transition plans with knowledge

Enterprise level Project Delivery and Management:

Enabled an enterprise wide rollout of the “Global Product Life Cycle Management Platform” for

Ford Product Engineers, Manufacturing Process Planners and extensive Supplier Community.

Delivered the foundation for the Global PLM Platform by implementing standard business processes and

tools for enterprise CAD/CAM/CAE data management, data model, security model and workflow

processes, bill of materials management, configuration management, digital prototyping and build of

vehicles to support milestone reviews, manufacturing process planning and process simulation.

• Systems Interoperability Solutions: Delivered a bidirectional systems data interoperability solution,

which enabled phased migration of data and users from legacy toolset (Metaphase) to the Next

Generation PLM solution (Teamcenter) at Ford Motor Company. Developed innovative batch

solutions for data migration and transfer of location of control. This solution supported the needs of

over 50 vehicle programs, over a period of 5 years, migrating around 2 million Items.

• Global Data Sharing: Delivered Global Data sharing solution for Product Design, CAE and

faster transfer of data, parallelization of data transfers and resolution of data integrity and run time

• Supplier Integration: Achieved Supplier Integration (around 800 companies) by delivering offsite

and onsite Ideas and Catia Connectivity Solutions to Ford’s Global Data Management Systems.
