Hello,
My name is William H. Metcalf; I am a man with a very broad
experience background specializing in Facilities Maintenance. I have
working experience; with outside contractors and internal work groups,
knowledge in computer communications and program implementation, new
equipment specification, preparation and installation, of equipment ranging
from delicate laboratory analyzers to rugged screw machines.
I was the Safety Coordinator at Exova Metallurgical testing laboratory. I
implemented and maintained an Injury / Illness Prevention Program for two
sites. We operate a Joint Health and Safety Committee comprised of both
Managerial and employee staff to monitor the well being of fellow
employees' and safety of our working environment. I managed the Hazardous
waste program and interfaced with the local agencies for fire, water and
air compliance.
I had a class 'A' Truck Driver experience, with HAZMAT and liquid
endorsements.
I was employed as the maintenance technician for the R&D lab of
International Rectifier. I was also the facilities manager of a solid-state
nuclear detector manufacture.
The United States Marine Corps trained me to run their Tech. Shop and
repair their radios and be a Platoon Sergeant. I have my Amateur Radio
Operator license. I am a volunteer with the American Red Cross, Antelope
Valley Chapter, as Communication Operator and a member of the Damage
Assessment Team.
Bottom line: Given a task - It's DONE!
Thank You for your time
