reduction and sorting with 250 machine presses.

tool capability, quality and other problems related to
manufacturing, coaching team members along the way.
. The methodology used to accomplish the above initiatives was used
in the next two state of the art molding plants in Cortland and
Vienna Ohio.

. Loaded internal plants by in-sourcing external business from

. Revised Tool Design standards to prolong tool life, insisting on
utilizing dissimilar steels and hardness, reducing breakage,
improving tool alignment, venting, steel-treatment (metallurgy),
develop new suppliers to bring new ideas versus copying existing
ideas, and estimates.
. Designed tooling for thermo-plastics, thermo-set materials,
created standard for hot-stamping fuse blocks.
. Introduced / Implemented Mold-Flow(FEA) reducing part & runner
ratio 30% on an average, analyzed part geometry, sized runners,
established processing parameters prior to starting tool design,
verify end process for accuracy.
. FEA was used on existing tools to reduce cycle time and shot size
that resulted in savings $2+ KK.
