Centers for Diagnostic Imaging
May 2010 – December 2012
CT and Radiologic Technologist
Bellevue, WA
I was the lead CT Technologist for our outpatient imaging center. My responsibilities are to perform quality
diagnostic scans and report complete patient histories for the radiologist. I also update protocols and train
new technologists. I'm proficient in starting peripheral iv lines and using a dual head contrast injector. I also
have been involved in an ACR study on radiation dose and have successfully lowered our doses
significantly. I'm also the center safety officer so I'm responsible for a wide array tasks in keeping our center
compliant and safe to work at. I do a lot of record keeping and maintenance in that job. I perform and
maintain our i-STAT handheld cartridge blood analysis tester. I'm also responsible for doing 3D
reconstructions for a few of centers, including mine, in the Puget Sound area.
St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center April 2002 to April 2010
CT Technologist
Boise, ID
I performed CT imaging services at the region's level II trauma center. I became proficient on the state's
first 64 slice scanner. During my time there, we became an accredited primary stroke center. I provided
diagnostic CT imaging services for our trauma, ER, oncology, cardiac, neuro, stroke and orthopedic
patients. I worked alongside our radiologists performing interventional services such as biopsies and
aspirations under CT fluoroscopy as well. Working at both a trauma and stroke center, I gained great
technical skills coupled with speed and efficiency.
