financial budgeting and reporting and, operations administration. Rendered review, analysis, and valuation,
for regulatory agency, on $300 million of out-of-state, non-performing real estate loans owned by two
failing financial institutions on behalf of regulatory agency. Provided consulting services to investor in
search of financial institution purchase.
2003 – 2007 Vice President & Controller, GTE Federal Credit Union ($2.1 billion in assets), Tampa, FL
All management responsibilities covering the areas of Accounting (financial record keeping for CU and
CUSO, policies and procedures, Board and regulatory reporting, budgeting, strategic planning, ALM, cost
accounting and profitability analysis, mergers & acquisitions and fixed assets), ACH, Internal Audit
(including external audit and NCUA exams), Investments (liquidity & cash management), Accounts

conversion. Participating member of the Commercial Lending Committee, the Board appointed ALM and

marketing, Human Resources, Customer Service and, Office Operations. As one of a team of three
executives, our efforts grew this micro ticket leasing company producing $8.0 million in equipment cost
receivables in 1994 to $58.0 million in equipment cost receivables in 1999. The executive team also
substantially increased revenue and profit for each of those consecutive years, resulting in several lucrative
offers to purchase during 1998.

State of Michigan applications for permission to organize a de novo bank for a group of Michigan
investors.
Prior to 1993 First Vice President, Controller and C.A.O., First Federal Savings Bank and Trust ($1.5 billion in assets),
Pontiac, MI
FSB&T was a publicly traded holding company which included a savings bank, mortgage and finance
subsidiaries. Managed corporate, savings bank, mortgage, and finance subsidiary financial accounting,
reporting, forecasting, and budgeting. Administratively responsible for the Accounts Payable, Payroll and,
Bank Operations Data Processing departments. Also a member of the Loan Committee and participated in
the IPO process, which raised $38.0 million of capital.
Vice President, Michigan National Bank ($7.1 billion in assets), Farmington Hills, MI
MNB was a publicly traded bank holding company. Responsibilities included corporate-wide Float
Management, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Controls, and Projects departments. Administrator of
financial accounting and external reporting for the lead bank in Southeastern Michigan ($1.0 billion in
assets). For a period of five years, was responsible for asset/liability management and supervision of
professional/clerical staff, performing all financial accounting and reporting functions as Controller for four
affiliate bank subsidiaries. Also a member of each subsidiary’s Executive and Loan Review Committees
and attended all four entities’ monthly Board meetings; presenting monthly financial statements.
