Enterprise Solutions Developer Course Projects

Adventure Works Cycle Enterprise Solution (Feb 2009 to Mar 2009)

A 3-tier application for a fictional bicycle company called “Adventure Works Cycle” built on

Microsoft .Net and Java JEE technologies. In this class project, my responsibilities included

o Graphical UI development using C# and ASP.net

o Application tier development using web services and EJB3 Session beans.

o XML development for data transfer between presentation and application tiers.

o Database development on a SQL Server 2008 Database.

o EJB3/JPA for persistence.

o Subversion for Source control.

This project was group project for the entire class and required significant integration and

coordination between an 8 member team.

Publication Management Solution (Nov 2008 to Jan 2009)

A 2-tier application for a fictional publishing company called “pubs” built on Java technologies.

In this class project, my responsibilities included

o Development of a java/Swing based graphical UI

o Development of a java based, object oriented business logic layer.

o JDBC and Stored Procedure development on a SQL Server 2008 database.
