CDW (Vernon Hills, IL) 2008 – 2009
Product Manager Mobile/Wireless Business
Managed and updated the CDW mobile wireless portfolio. Drove revenue through the integration and
development of products within the CDW portfolio. Worked with partner development management to
secure Co-Op funding to support marketing activities, maintain part numbers within the product
portfolio, and work closely with segment leaders to develop customer segment focus, and product
leaders to define solution. Developed and created processes, projects, and marketing campaigns.
Developed marketing and sales initiatives and awareness for 2Q08 resulting in over 1200 new
BlackBerry activations, $1.8M of software and TSupport sales, and over $350K in BlackBerry
accessory sales.
Secured $500K from a partner for incremental marketing activities and to increase brand
awareness. Marketing materials were comprised of direct mail, white paper, online webinar,
podcast, and solutions direct mailer. This was the largest mobile/wireless partner investment to
date.
Developed CDW channel sales and marketing strategy for TomTom GPS. Initiated both internal
and external sales awareness around top selling device. Result: Grew Month over Month Sales
Revenue by 99.8% and TomTom will sign it’s first ever reseller marketing plan valued at $100K.
Acted as lead business developer and established relationship between CDW and HTC. Created
a carrier subsidy model that will allow for HTC and CDW to grow sales of unlocked devices.
Partnership will also result in the signing of a $100K annual marketing plan.
Motorola (Schaumburg, IL) 2004 – 2007
North American Marketing Manager, Mobile Devices Business (2006 – 2007)
Developed and implemented marketing strategies to launch 12-15 Motorola phones per year at 105
regional mobile phone carriers and two major distributors. Collaborated with carrier/distributor clients;
delivered marketing programs and collateral needed to accomplish Motorola’s ROI/sales goals.
Managed Motorola’s brand strategy at the carrier and distributor level.
Oversaw distribution of $6M in marketing development funds to a major regional carrier. Allocated
budget for carrier’s nine regions, developed co-sponsorship opportunities and created phone give-
away programs to drive recommendations. Result: Established #1 market share with carrier.
Partnered with Pittsburgh carrier and the Pittsburgh Steelers to establish unique consumer and
trade-based promotions to hype introduction of a key Motorola handset as a “Steelers phone.”
Initiated and implemented seven-phase sales/marketing program with a major distributor designed
to spur its internal sales force. Each six-week phase included different incentives, training modules
and prizes. Result: Market share increased by 38% ($4.6M in incremental sales). Similar 5-phase
program at another distributor led to doubling of accessory attachments in 2007.
Managed creation of “launch kits” including training and POS material to support regional carriers’
introduction of new handsets. Developed process for creation/delivery of kits. Result: 6500 kits
sent to carriers for each new product has increased product knowledge and recommendation.

Business Leadership Development Program (2004 – 2006)
Participated in three 6-month rotations as part of Motorola’s leadership program for high-potential
employees. This program led to current Marketing Manager Position.
MARKETING DEPARTMENT OF MOBILE DEVICES BUSINESS: Oversaw marketing initiatives to promote
products targeted to professionals. Collaborated with sales teams in Europe, Asia and Africa and
developed B-B sales training and collateral materials. Created an event tool kit (co-branded with
Microsoft) for trade shows and conventions. Identified and managed a process for distributing,
tracking and getting feedback on 2800+ devices given to Motorola employees and customers.
FINANCE DEPARTMENT OF MOBILE DEVICES BUSINESS: Gained exposure with P&Ls by serving as
finance representative on five-person team to develop division’s 2006 strategy. Led team,
