ISP – Integrated Sales Planning
ISP is a tool that was designed to integrate business planning for Chrysler and Mercedes Benz
vehicles. This planning tool was created to help regional offices to develop sales forecasts, as
well as review, consolidate, and approve forecasts submitted by the MPUs. Every month this
system creates a new production program based on the production forecast sent by the
forecasters, and the over builds/under builds of the previous month. The production forecast that
is submitted through ISP is ultimately used to schedule vehicle production. The goal of ISP is to
establish world wide sales planning process and common system for all Daimler Chrysler brands.
Role:
Involved in the analysis, design and development of the Production requirement Worksheets for
various vehicle markets (Chrysler International, MB Global, and Volkswagen NAFTA).
Analyzed and implemented the EPT (Excel Planning tool), an offline worksheet – used for
planning purposes.
Identified and designed system’s low level components, estimated high level time and resource
requirements.
Responsible for writing high level and low level Design and Solutions Specification Document.

GBI - Credit Processing Overhaul (GECC)
As part of the Global business interface, the CPO GECC project will enhance the existing credit
express process to handle the Canadian credit express in the CA Stores. This store processes at
Lowe’s communicate with GE for approval, pre-approval, and modifications of the credit
applications. The various types of credit provided by Lowe’s & GE are LCC, LPC, LAR and LBA
cards.
Role:
Involved in the analysis, design and development of the system.
Involved in the store side application which involves development of the commercial and
consumer application for both the countries.
Involved in the web application which sets up the application data in the DB2 tables which are
send to the store on a daily /weekly basis.
Re-architected and re-designed existing application to meet the enhanced requirement.
Modified existing automated test plans to accommodate new changes and executed for its
performance.
Wrote very detailed Unit and Integration/System Test plans to cover existing functionality and
new changes added to the system.

Returns System
The Returns Enhancement Project will implement the Store Returns System in accordance with
the Sales System. The system is redesigned to capture the sales data, tax information and sync
with the generic POS system. All the sales data is stored and is used in the returns process. The
returns system is enhanced to retrieve the sale info based on the sale tender when the customer
doesn’t provide the sales receipt.
Role:
Involved in the analysis of the current returns system and in the re-design of the new system.
Also designed the main frame processes which communicate with the C store modules.
Developed code which modulates the returns rules based on the tenders used during sale. Also
prepared Unit test plans for all the modules. Also responsible for documentation.

Rebate System
The rebates system automatically prints rebate information to receipts when items that qualify for
rebate programs are purchased. The web application that supports the existing rebates project is
modified to allow role based users. Based on their role the users are allowed to edit the existing
rebate data such as the quantity, cost and the items included in the rebates. The application also
provides the ability to generate location specific item rebates all over US. Inbound processor for
store receives file with new rebate data that is setup with this web application.

Signage
The Store Signage Enhancement will implement Lowe’s new strategic direction for in-store
signage. This enhancement will reduce the number of colored stocks and consolidate them into
one colored stock, with varying formats. In addition, this enhancement will implement new
formats, clean up existing formats, increase legibility, and clarify the information on the signage.
Store system modifications will be made to streamline the signage setup/request process in the
stores.

PDA Preventive Maintenance Application
Involved in the development of a web based application for City of Sugar land, a Utility Job
Messaging System. This is used by the mobile inspectors who inspect their jobs such as the
Hydrants, Valves and Manhole and upload the data to the remote server using a PDA. The jobs
are uploaded using the XML web services. The uploaded jobs are inspected by the supervisor
through a web-interface and reports are generated.
Role:
Designed and implemented the back end of the application using C#.NET.
Developed the User authentication module which deals with various user roles and user groups.
Designed the database in MS Access and SQL server CE.
Implemented Web services which are used to sync the data to/from the PDA to the backend
server.
Written various SQL queries and performed Unit testing.

Vendor Surveillance Reports
Involved in the design and development of a web-based application, as part of InfoDat’s
Enterprise Reporting System. This application incorporates the three-tier architecture wherein the
thick client interacts with the backend database using the web services and a web interface is
used to access the backend application. It is mainly used by the PPI employees who create
surveillance reports and upload the reports to their supervisor. This facilities various kinds of
operations to the employee as well as the supervisor. For ex: the employee can edit, delete
reports in addition to creating them. The supervisor can view, edit, delete and approve reports. A
PDF format of the report can also be generated.
Role:
Mainly responsible for the development of the client side application. Implemented the client side
modules in C# NET.
Developed the Wrapper Classes in C#, which interact with Data Layer to hide the complexity of
Data interaction.
Developed server side modules using XML Web Services.

Timesheet Reporting System
Involved in designing and implementing a web-based application as part of InfoDat’s Enterprise
Reporting System. This application is used by the PPI employees to submit their timesheets. The
employees create, view, edit, save, delete, and submit timesheets to the server. They also
manage their accounts. The supervisors view, approve, deny, download, edit, delete timesheets,
and send e-mail remainders to the employees. They query and generate reports. They can
delegate the employees to another supervisor. They also manage their accounts. The accountant
manages the payrolls of all the employees. He even checks for timesheets that are not submitted.
They also manage the user accounts.
Role:
Implemented the module where in the employee creates a time sheet for the current period as
well as any prior periods. Also designed the database.

Utility Job Messaging System
Designed and maintained a Smart phone, web based application (UJMS) for a construction
company. This application is used by the mobile sales personnel via a smart phone or a pocket
PC. The salesman can view their jobs, create new jobs and update any completed jobs on the fly
using the mobile device. When the salesman submits a job, it is sent to the remote SQL server by
calling a web service. The information is maintained and updated in the database.
Role:
Designed and implemented the front end of the application using C#.NET.
Designed the database in MS Access (front end) and SQL server (Back end).
Implemented Web services.
Written various SQL queries using Stored Procedures.
