Drive Tester Alcatel-Lucent/ nTelos CDMA Network Project:

Project Duration: March 2008 – November 2008

Project Description: Phase out Motorola(1xRTT) systems and replace with

Lucent(EVDO) in Virginia and West Virginia.

Job Duties:

Set-up and configure Drive test equipment.

Used QXDM to perform Baseline testing(1xRTT), Sector tests, Cluster

Testing, Post-cut testing.

Post-Process voice and EVDO data using LDAT 1x3G and 1XEVDO

post-processing tool.

Created PN plots for all cells in cluster for Voice and EVDO.

Check for Cable and jumper swaps and antenna azimuths for all

sectors.

Performed IS-41 HHO testing.

Monitor soft handoffs during drive testing.

Performed hand-down testing from multiple carrier sites.

Created cluster and market drive data reports using LDAT.

Performed coverage comparisons with baseline data and report to

Lucent RF engineer.

Update PRLs on phones using QPST service programming.

Update cell file information for creating lcat file.

Navigate using Delorme Street Atlas tool.

Analyze call and connection drops for missing neighbors.

Current Project: Drive tester Ericsson/AT&T UTRAN in upstate NY

Project Description: 3G network setup in UNY

Job Duties:

Set-up and Configure Agilent, UEs and EUL.

Collect drive data for Voice, HSUPA, HSDPA and Scanner.

Perform Pre-launch and Post-launch(gng30 & gng60) Testing.

Perform Single site verification(SSV) testing.

Report Cable swaps and any site issues to RF engineer.

Performed IRAT tests.

Performed GSM network testing for IRAT configuration.

Create drive routes in Streets and trips.

Drive Testing Tools used:

Agilent E6474A, TEMS Investigation, QXDM (3.11.35.0), QPST,

LDAT(V4.13.0), Delorme Street Atlas 2007, Mapinfo9.5, Microsoft Streets

and trips.

Educational Qualification: MSEE with specialization in Wireless

Communications.

Skills:

Clear understanding of UMTS architechture.

Good understanding of RRC and NAS protocols, physical layer and

Channels.
