Managing a team of 30 Computer Technicians involved with a build to order program for
Panasonic Toughbook computers. A pivotal role in maintaining the Panasonic account;
responsible for the organization and efficiency of the production department completing final
assembly and integration of wireless technology on notebooks. Using customer’s monthly
production schedules to plan work flow, man power requirements and parts availability while
consistently meeting the customer’s production and quality objectives enabling all sales goals to be
achieved.

2000 - 2005
UK Sales and Production Manager
Responsible for the strategic growth and direction of the UK customer base, developing a
portfolio of customers including large OEM’s, MRO’s and distibutors, increasing Economos UK
profits year on year. Managed all UK sales engineers and branch sales staff, set budgets;
overseeing large customer tenders. Regular contact with large key accounts and support of Sales
team with marketing campaigns to focus on new potential business. Management of a production
team involved with the machining of Elastomers and Engineering plastics on purpose built CNC
Lathes, 4 axis milling machines and high pressure water cutting facilities. Ensuring material stocks
are held at a level to offer a maximum lead time of just 4 days.
