RF Consultant: Support & Debug RF Calibration Tools, and assist with internal/external customer’s RF
calibration needs for the SlimChip Reference Platform using Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE Class 12 and Tri-
band WCDMA/HSDPA/HSUPA R6 Type 3 standards and technologies.
• Involved with Standard Calibration and Smart Alignment Calibration for passing GCF parameters.
• Assist in debugging Visual C++ RF calibration tool code with external partner.
• Provide internal/external customer support for clients using RF Calibration/Evaluation Tools.

SIERRA WIRELESS 2007 – 2008
OTA Lab Manager: Coordinated OTA schedule, lead, and assist with internal/external customer’s OTA testing
(Antenna Performance, TIS, TRP, EIS).
• Developed C++ custom software methods/packages for GPS RF EIS Receiver performance testing on
Qualcomm’s GpsOne devices on any Sierra CDMA data card, embedded or external, on any laptop.
(Manual TIS/EIS GPS RF performance method developed in 3 months!)
• Involved with OTA testing activities during OEM customer acceptance for Sprint, AT&T, Verizon, and
Vodafone on TIA/EIA IS-95, CDMA2000, WCDMA, and GSM.
• Negotiated OTA schedule with program managers to assist OEMs’ with troubleshooting EMI issues
considered for FCC part 15, passing service operator specifications, SAR criteria, and antenna
performance.
• Increased productivity in the SWI OTA lab by 327%, and led 3 Test Lab Engineers.
• Trouble shooting customer products using Sierra Data Card modules due to OTA/conducted RF
interference and poor TIS/TRP performance.
• Coordinating EIA/ISO 17025 certification efforts with A2LA and OTA SWI Lab Team, and Richmond,
B.C. Lab Team.
• Managed the OTA schedule (Antenna, TRP, TIS, EIS) and used the Satimo SG-64 Anechoic Chamber
for Antenna and RX/TX device testing with CMU200 and Agilent 8960 (UMTS/WCDMA, GSM, CDMA
protocols for all bands). Conducted RF protocol testing was also performed.
