Sr. Project Engineer
• Performed Topology and gauge optimization of 787-9 Main Landing Gear door using
OPTISTRUCT to obtain an efficient metallic door structure which could with stand
ultimate loads. FE results are also validated using classical hand calculation methods.
• Performed FE analysis and optimization of 787-9 Wing-To-Body-Fairing (Section-49)
concept design using OPTISTRUCT to develop a structurally efficient WBF concept and
architecture using 787-8 loads, geometry and FE model.
• Performed mid body stiffness analysis of 787-9 global FEM model. The study involved in
combining Ground and flight global FE models using MPC equations to perform stiffness
and optimization analysis using OPTISTRUCT and NASTRAN.
• Topology and Size optimization of 747-8 Trailing edge Inboard-Outboard flap carriages
using OPTISTRUCT. Optimization is performed for various bogie positions of carriages
on flap track. FE results were validated using classical hand calculation methods.
• Involved in optimization and structural analysis of Roll out stop lock panels of cargo
section of fuselage for 787 using OPTISTRUCT. Roll out stop lock was analyzed for fwd
& aft, outboard & inboard abuse loads. FE results were validated using classical hand
calculation methods.
• Managed and worked with a group of three engineers as a liaison engineer to perform
optimization and structural analysis of cradle of fuselage sections of 43, 44 & 46 for 787
• Managed and worked with a group of three engineers as a liaison engineer to perform
structural analysis and optimization of Aux track panel of wing section of 787-8.
• Managed and worked with a group of six engineers as a liaison engineer to perform
structural analysis and optimization of various components of 787-8 such as PED door
stops, floor panel, PSU rails, and ball panel & flap support.

Position involved handling FE analysis & correlating with physical tests of a SCORPIO vehicle
program at Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. FE analysis ranged from Linear, Non-linear, Dynamic,
Optimization analysis for various vehicle components including Body, Chassis, Closures &
Engines.
• Performed Durability analysis of 4WD & 2WD chassis using Inertia relief method.
FE model is built using HYPERMESH and analysis is performed using MSC.NASATRAN.
• Performed FE door sag analysis using MSC.NASTRAN for all the doors (Front, Rear and
Tail doors) for the standard loading conditions and studying the structural behavior at the
door hinges and suggesting means to strengthen the hinges.
• Performed Quasi-Static side door intrusion analysis to predict safety of door structures.
FE model of BIW including driver seat is built using HYPERMESH and analysis is
performed using LS-DYNA.
• Performed Torsion bar mounting brackets analysis on 4WD chassis. FE analysis was
done to improve the performance of Torsion bar mounting bracket when subjected to
worst torque and along with durability loads
• Organized and coordinated for optimization of Spare wheel cross member and AC
compressor bracket. Optimization is performed using OPTISTRUCT.
• Performed Engine barrel G-loading study using MSC.NASTRAN. The given assembly of
the engine barrel is subjected for 25G loading in all X, Y, Z as input for Stress analysis.
