Manhattan Associates is a global leader in Supply Chain Management and Execution. WM-OS is MA’s

core product with highest global market share in the Warehouse Management segment. MA is an ISO

Project Description

Warehouse Management manages the day-to-day operations of the warehouse and easily integrates with

other business applications, such as order processing systems, which perform high-level order allocation

and forecasting and retain shipping histories.

Warehouse Management manages a wide range of processes associated with receiving inventory into the

warehouse, tracking it, and shipping it to customers. It also has many functions for managing the work in

the warehouse, including wave generation processes.

Some of the key enhancement projects that I executed as developer are:

Red Envelope, Columbus, Ohio

About the client:

Red Envelope is online gift shop in US, founded in 1999. In June of 2008, Red Envelope was acquired by

Provide Commerce, Inc. and incorporated into their portfolio of high-quality gifting brands.

Project Description:

Red Envelope has customized WMOS 2003R1 product to their needs. They have MHE installed in their

Warehouse, so most of transactions are enhanced to support the MHE use.

Enhancements Done:

Bridge program of the existing product to process the information related to their personalized

ordered products

Pick by Carton in Picking module and Pack by zone in Packing Module

Role: Time/Cost Estimation, Design, Coding, Development, and unit testing of enhancements.

Cato Corporation, Charlotte

About the client:

Cato Corporation mainly deals in girl’s fashions. There are over 1,100 Cato stores in 31 states.

Project Description:

Cato was also using different system – Retek Management systems. So they needed their interfaces to

work perfectly so as to allow WMOS system to interact with Retek Management Systems.

Enhancements Done:

New module for handling locking and unlocking of cases was developed.

Role: Database Design, Design of program, Development, coding, and unit testing.

Client: Hugo Boss, Cleveland

For many years now, the Hugo Boss group has ranked among the global market leaders in superior

fashions – and been progressively extending this position.

operating worldwide, and the more than 5,900 other partner POS venues

Project Description:

Hugo Boss went live with Warehouse Management Systems (WMOS) in 2006. They customized few

transactions like Receiving, Put away and Packing

Client: Hot Topic, Tennessee

About the client:

Hot topic primarily deals into music. They sell music, and music influenced accessories and apparel

online and also in more than 60 stores present in all states. It was founded in 1988.

Project Description:

Hot topic again went for go live in April 2008. They went for lot of enhancements in the product.

Almost all major transactions were customized to interact with Labor Management Systems (LM).

About the client:

Kohl’s is big chain of departmental Stores in United States. They deal into apparel, shoes & accessories for

women, children and men, plus home products like small electrics, bedding, luggage and more. They

have online shopping as well. Kohl’s stores are widely distributed in most of the cities in US.

Project Description:

Kohl’s have lot of customization for the warehouse management product. Their most process is

automated as they use sorters, chutes, and machine handling equipment (MHE). And hence most of the

programs for Kohl’s are customized.

Role: Technical Lead & Developer; Delegate work, Oversee the project work, coding, testing, resource

feedback, mentoring on client-flow and base-WMOS process flow

analyzing and Modeling the different pathways.

CUSTOMER SATISFACTION EVALUATION UNIT, (CSIR), PUNE Jan ’04 to May ‘04

Project Trainee

Customer Satisfactions Evaluation Unit is constituent unit of Council of Scientific and Industrial

Research, more popularly known as CSIR. They have 38 R & D laboratories spread all over India. All

these laboratories do research in different fields. They have clients all over world.

Project Name: Customer Satisfaction Evaluation System

Environment: MFC, SDK, COM

Description

This project is basically used for atomizing the work of evaluating the satisfaction. This system takes care

of tasks starting from taking project details from labs till printing final reports. My module was to

develop lab site software that will accept the details of projects and send to CSE by mail. The other

module is at CSE site whose function was to merge, analyze and merge the received data into existing

oracle system.
