PROFESSIONAL SUCCESSES
Change Management:
Assigned as President of a struggling commercial printing company in California. Brought
company back to profitability in just 1.5 years and increased operations to $30M within four years.
Upgraded facilities/equipment and reinvigorated employees by involving them in the corrective
action process, implementing team suggestions, and establishing an open flow of communications,
resulting in a significant improvement in team productivity.
Assigned as President of a newly acquired wholesale printing company. Company was initially in
the red; turned around production within 2.5 years with a 9% profitability rating. Maintained an
$18M budget while stabilizing inventory control, refining budgeting practices and hiring
procedures. Carefully monitored the market and implemented consumer demands – customer
response significantly enhanced the bottom-line.
Participated in the acquisition of a competitor firm. As Project Manager, relocated and merged
new company into operational processes and standards within just 60 days.
Organizational Development:
Assigned to develop and integrate the corporation’s initial LEAN programs using the Toyota
Manufacturing Process Platform. Within the first year earned green belt status, conducted over 20
workshops’, grew the LEAN team to over 140 personnel, and developed/implemented the value
stream mapping. Results were phenomenal, topping over $1.5M in annual savings.

Conducted a motion study and changed operational procedures to reduce employee movements by
70% resulting in a significant improvement in production while reducing employee injuries.
Performed a comprehensive manpower usage study and developed a reorganization plan for
efficient use of resources. Initial program, Daily Production Efficiency, was highly successful and
ultimately adopted in all operational areas.
International Startup: Key Executive Manager assigned to start-up a social and commercial printing
business in Mexico in accordance with NAFTA standards.
Conducted an environmental scan, formulated and implemented the strategic plan, conducted
thorough assessment and made necessary adjustments. Established and grew the company in
accordance with government regulations and cultural standards.
Established initial manufacturing process, hired all managers and labor force, and fully developed
the locality specific marketing strategy.
Personally oversaw all sales, planning, business development, budgeting and staffing while
simultaneously maintaining collateral corporate responsibilities.
Operations/Logistics:
