Software Quality Assurance Manager
SQA Manager responsible for all aspects of the System Verification and Acceptance Testing of a Satellite Transmission Broadcast
System. Built the team, established test strategy and test processes. Developed and executed tests to verify hardware and software
installation, configuration and system functionality. This system is a Client/Server Windows and Solaris based platform which
integrated RAID based video server technologies with existing tape based devices to deliver 540 broadcast channels. Established test
procedures and processes, and was responsible for project planning, plant startup, metrics, Defect Tracking and customer briefings.
Worked closely with the customer to ensure requirements were met. This engagement was done onsite at the customer’s facility.

Quality Assurance Lead responsible for the test strategy, automation and execution of functional and system verification tests for the
MultiMedia Server application on the RS/6000. This application serves multimedia content from an AIX server to PC, MAC and other
UNIX clients across FDDI, Ethernet, Token Ring or ATM networks. As Beta coordinator served as key interface to our customers to
ensure product quality and directions meet customer needs. Managed 1500 square foot test lab. Managed subcontractors on the
development and test team.

Advisory Development Manager
First line development manager responsible for the software development, SQA, customer support and manufacturing support for the
IBM Xstation product line. Brought in to focus on improving product quality and customer satisfaction. Customer satisfaction was
increased by 25% due to providing faster response time to customer problems and implementing repeatable and automated testing
techniques. This along with enhanced diagnostic features improved overall product quality. Managed multiple product deliverables
while concurrently providing customer support, maintaining schedules, quality and budget considerations.

Quality Assurance lead responsible for the development and execution of functional and system verification test suites for DOS and
Windows Emulation technologies on the RS/6000, PowerPC, SUN and HP workstations. Technologies allowed for DOS/Windows to
run on AIX (UNIX), OS/2 for PowerPC and software emulated MPEG video decoding for Windows NT. Automated test suites
resulted in reduction of test cycle by 50%. Manager of 2000 square foot test laboratory responsible for scheduling, staffing, hardware
and software acquisition, maintenance and system administration. Supervised subcontractors and vendor on premise and product build
teams. Acted as key interface with business partners to ensure product success across multiple hardware platforms.

Product development lead for Distributed CAD Client/Server application, responsible for the scheduling, staffing, quality as well as
major development activities on the project. This project was developed onsite at the customer’s location and delivered into
production on time with high quality. In addition to development responsibilities as the System Verification and Functional
Verification lead I automated the test process resulting in a 10X quality improvement and a 25% reduction to the test cycle. Provided
