Professional Training History
CA, Inc., Certified Technical Trainer / Principal App Support Engineer 5/06 – 03/09
Responsibilities included providing formal training on Clarity PPM software to system
administrators, project managers, and technical support staff on all aspects of Clarity from a
technical and functional point of view. This included installation of Clarity on J2EE and other
platforms and configurations, building portlets and NSQL queries, and implementing a working
customizable system to users.
Responsibilities also included providing guidance and assisting with written formal course material
to support Clarity training. Also instrumental in writing technical certification exams that are used
worldwide for certification on the web based product.
Responsibilities as a Principal Application Support Engineer included providing expert technical
knowledge for implementing and supporting Clarity application systems. This involved delivering
specific detail instructions on how to implement Clarity systems, scheduling delivery, and providing
on-going support for 15,000+ users of Clarity applications. Also provided leadership and guidance
to Senior Support Engineers and Senior Business Analysts. Ensured technical accuracy in
conjunction with CA Best Practices for successful implementations. Provided consulting expertise
