designed survey to understand requirements and prepare a market research report to develop a
complete business plan for Apollo to penetrate in Mumbai market. I have sourced business
from around 5 corporate within a month and satisfied their needs.

Functional Area: City Assessment
Projects Brief:
The project involved assessing Indian cities for opportunities in the hospitality sector by carrying
out market research on tourism spots, demand analysis, real estate location identification, and
valuation of land along with preparing presentations and executive summaries.
PROJECTS UNDERTAKEN
Business Valuation for State Bank of India by historical ratio analysis. Key performance
indicators were compared for SBI, ICICI, PNB and BoB.
Study on Impact of Liberalization, Privatization and Globalization on heavy industry as a
whole and BHEL in particular.
Demand Forecasting for telecom industry penetration for 2008 in Roorkee, Uttarakhand.
Study of Working Capital practices employed by Indian Heavy Engineering industry. Key
working capital ratios were analyzed for ABB Ltd., L&T Ltd. and BHEL to arrive at enterprise
valuation.
IT strategy for a sugar company. The project included assessing the key business imperatives
for the company, giving recommendations on the acquisition of IT infrastructure based on the
current IT status of the company and suggesting an implementation plan.
Research Paper on Outsourcing of IT applications with Indian perspective. Paper included
study of various outsourcing models and Indian role in outsourcing market.
Designed a RFP (Request for Proposal) for ERP implementation in a port.
ACCOLADES AND PUBLICATIONS
Winner of the INFOCOM Future Leadership Awards (IFLA) 2008-09. The jury included
prominent names like Mr. Roopen Roy, MD, Deloitte and Touche Consulting India Private
Limited. My paper was published in an international compendium.
First Prize in a National level Paper Presentation contest (published in “The Technology
Today 2005”).
