Senior Vice President: Enterprise Credit Risk Management (2007 - 2008)
Developed a multi-location enterprise level credit risk management group to centralize strategic risk management activities that had
previously been performed at the business unit level. Established and coordinated enterprise credit risk management framework,
strategies, and policies with line of business risk personnel. Provided direction for all direct reports to develop and implement goals
and objectives that were specific, measurable, attainable, reasonable and time-based. Responsible for annual planning process which
included setting objectives, structuring tasks, establishing priorities, determining annual budget, forecasting, and operating within
budget.
Selected Accomplishments:
Established enterprise-wide credit risk portfolio analytics and reporting to summarize key trends, performance metrics, business
drivers and forecasts of expected asset behavior across the pool of credit risk. Analytic activities included: migration and
correlation analyses, loss forecasting and stress testing processes, pricing analysis and feedback processes, and consolidated
portfolio scenario analyses.

Designed a risk model validation program that included the following: definition of a model and minimum model documentation
requirements; model risk assessment factors; drafting and approval of Model Validation Policy and Model Validation Process
document; model inventory database; and, validation program schedule.
Authored white paper assessing Comerica Incorporated’s readiness for Basel II implementation; presented findings to executive
management, Board of Directors, and Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago.
Vice President: Investor Relations (2000 – 2005)
Contributed to Comerica’s securities earning fair valuation by successfully handling a strategic management responsibility to integrate
finance, communication, marketing, and securities law compliance for effective communication between the corporation, financial
community, and other constituencies. Increased visibility of corporation and its executives and stimulated investment community’s
interest by developing strategic messaging, ensuring clear communication of corporate strategies, and initiating and directing
reestablishment of biennial Comerica-sponsored Investor Day in New York.

Generated broker/investor interest in corporation’s securities by maintaining relationships with stock specialist firm and building
buy-side and sell-side coverage; served as liaison between equity market and corporation and monitored securities trading.
Coordinated all activities in preparation of quarterly earnings release including financial statements, press release, investor

Decreased direct annual software expense by 30% by developing tracking system for software development costs, enabling
corporation to capitalize and amortize expenses as part of the related asset.
