Led marketing effort supporting nine-office consulting organization with 120 employees focused
on finding and winning work in competitive renewable energy and water resource markets.
Worked closely with top management to develop and carry out long and short-term strategic planning
efforts aimed at market identification, penetration, budgeting, staff development, and reporting. Wrote
and implemented yearly marketing plan, and assisted Department Managers assess assigned market
areas, developed strategy-driven tactics for expanding business within competitive markets, and
managed the support effort to win new work and build backlog from existing and new clients.
Key Achievements:
Realigned marketing structure to help hedge against downturns in core markets focusing on
team approach to business development resulting in a steady 7-10% average increase in gross
fees each year over a ten year period.
Managed $607,000 yearly marketing budget for $13 million/year consulting business.
