SAFETY/WORKERS COMP MANAGER

Strategically plan, develop, and administer organization wide loss prevention and control programs. Led this

lean manufacturing organization to identify safety risk and implement corrective actions. Developed and

implemented safety policies for this manufacturing plant and off-site distribution center of over 1000

employees. Extensively interface with senior management, ancillary departments, third party administrators

and outside consultants. Develop and implemented workers compensation program managing on-site clinic

management for this leading bus manufacturer specializing in school, commercial, and luxury motor homes.

Strategically plan, develop, and administer organization-wide loss prevention and control programs.

Administer $2.5 million budget. Develop and implement loss control and risk transfer programs, policies,

and measurement tools for liability/casualty insurance, self-insurance, fidelity, property (FM Global HPR

client), safety, and environmental management. Perform environmental and safety audits. Managed planning,

development, and administration of safety, DOT, and environmental programs for this manufacturing plant with

2,000 employees. Directed environmental/safety of five plants based in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.

Negotiated policies and procedures with federal EPA and state environmental division. Revised policy manual
