System Implementation
• Implemented Hyperion System 9 to streamline the consolidation of financial and operational reporting as well as
budgeting, forecasting and business modeling.
• Designed a custom rules-based commission engine to compensate Equinox’s sales personnel.
Business Intelligence
• Led the effort to design and develop data marts and their associated ETL layer for the General Ledger, Payroll (ADP’s
Payroll and E-Time services), and major revenue-based service offerings (Sales, Personal Training, etc).
• Architected an enterprise star schema data model that combines the general ledger with the various sub-ledgers (Payroll,
Sales Commissions, Membership, etc).
• Provided the architectural guidance and managed the effort to develop OLAP models in Hyperion’s Essbase for the
Income Statement, Payroll, Balance Sheet, External Auditing, and other service offerings.
• Managed a team of developers to redesign the monthly consolidated Financial Reporting, Club P&Ls, and Board of

Financial Planning and Analysis
• Managed the back office support for the annual budget and strategy plans, which includes project management, business

Business Process Re-Engineering
• Performed detailed sub-ledger data reconcillation to properly align data and enforce a standard set of business rules and
processes to ensure that data is recorded to the GL in a consistent and auditable manner.
• Developed a process and architecture for recording earned and unearned revenue. This new process reduces the monthly
closing for management by one day and provides better internal control for revenue.

Manager Supply Chain Applications - Responsible for the daily business activities as well as the applications management
for Sirius’ Supply Chain systems.
• Managed the process and data flow analysis between the data exchange platform and other internal applications such as
our billing and CRM solutions.
• Responsible for the auditing/reporting on various financial exchanges with our automotive partners in the areas of
hardware subsidies and partner paid subscriptions. Subsidies are tracked to the receiver level and represent $80-$120
million dollars worth of exchanges per year.
• Served at the technical liaison with our automotive partners, which consist of Daimler Chrysler, Ford, Land Rover,
BMW, Nissan, Volkswagen, Audi, Mitsubishi and Porsche.
• Coordinated the review of all program contracts to ensure that Sirius can audit and verify partner commitments as well as
ensure a satisfactory client experience at our customer call centers.

initiatives. Manage to company approved guidelines that are based on the Rational Unified Process for planning, budgeting,

Investor Relations Websites – Assumed responsibilities for an outsourced project to replace an existing investor relations
website. Upon review of the architecture and project approach, I recommended cancellation of the project. This decision
saved the company approximately three million dollars.
Business Continuity Planning - Managed a major upgrade to our Philadelphia Disaster Recovery site. In addition to system
enhancements this project reworked all existing Disaster Recovery documentation such as fail over procedures, test drills, and
calling trees. Developed a Business Impact Analysis study to quantify probable consequences for various types of disruptions.
