• Accurately calculated and processed payrolls according to Multi-State Tax, Union, Guild, and non-

union federal and state minimum wage and overtime rules.

• Offered knowledge to other department heads in order to assist them in making procedural decisions.

• Analyze system reported issues from clients and users, determine if user error, set up error, or system

error, fixed accordingly or escalated to the appropriate team for immediate assistance.

• Interact with the Java Developers / and Crystal Report Writers (IT Dept) to develop, implement, and

brainstorm system requirements and enhancement ideas, which ultimately minimized errors.

• Oversee system enhancement and upgrade projects.

• Performed parallel testing to ensure new system was accurate – also performed testing on enhancement

changes.

• Review union and non union federal and state minimum wage and overtime rules input into the system

for accuracy.

• Review Multi-State tax for proper calculations according to data entered.

• Review Holiday Accruals, Pension Reports, Employee information, and other reports to ensure

accuracy or corrected accordingly.

• Assist clients and payroll personnel with payroll processing, system and report issues, and

enhancements, and act as liaison between all in order to achieve the best results for all, and gather all

requirements needed for recommending & implementing changes when necessary.

• Assigned work flow according to job type, knowledge of coordinator(s), and their current work flow.

• Ensure that deadlines and customer satisfaction are accomplished daily.

• Review and approve work eligibility documentation / and taxation for Non Resident Aliens, for both

Burbank and NY office locations.

• Conduct daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual audits of payrolls processed in the 2-payroll

systems, used in the processing of entertainment payrolls for both NY and Burbank offices, which

enhanced overall payroll process. (system implementation and conversion audits).

• 2007 was also responsible for conducting an audit of system data verses tax deposits and tax

documents prepared from 2004 – to current, and was able to find and correct numerous errors.

• Responsible for New Hire reporting.

• Reviewed, processed, and approved all payroll adjustments, including Tax Adj. W-2c’s, etc.

• Review & Approved Payroll QA Department work to ensure that payrolls were completed in

compliance with policy and procedures set & for SAS 70 / SOX Audits.
