RELEVENT EXPERIENCE
MAXIM/DALLAS Semiconductors, Chelmsford, MA Summer 2008
Strategic Marketing Engineer Assistant
• Reviewed, organized and constructed a product classifying system for company’s new
semiconductor membership using datasheets, chip specifications and excel
• Analyzed analog/mixed-signal chips based on organization’s guidelines and implemented them
into desired categories
• Exceeded companies expectations by evaluating every product; developed a solid understanding
of semiconductor chip design and testing in an industrial setting
SENIOR DESIGN PROJECT Fall 08-Spring 09
• Designed embedded system that analyzes vehicle fuel consumption and recommends alternative fuel efficient routes
• Programmed microcontroller in C++ in order to collect data from the car sensors and GPS, stored data on the SD card,
used Bluetooth to transmit information to database server SQL, and finally used Google map API in order to display
recommendations on fully developed GUI web interface
• Worked as a leader of 4 engineering students, presented project progress every two months to the board of professors,
met once a week with advisor, demonstrated project to over 100 people including faculty, staff, peers and industry
representatives
OTHER PROJECTS
• Temperature Controller – Designed and developed a mixed signal feedback control system using a remote sensor,
D/A Converter, Pulse Width Modulator and Voltage Comparator. Explored functionality of Analog/Digital Chips and
expanded knowledge of electrical engineering team design.
• Network Camera – Designed Embedded System, used two DE2 boards and a PC camera, established
communication via Ethernet connection between two boards in order to successfully send packets containing picture
information; developed a solid understanding of software/hardware design tools.
• Microfabrication – Fabricated BJT and MOS devices on a wafer, completed the entire microelectronics circuit
fabrication process, learned physical concepts behind it, experienced clean room environment.
• Designed and built – Two-stage BiCMOS Amplifier, Gain Amplifiers, DC Bias, Peak detector and other analog
devices, using integrated Circuit Techniques and PSPICE.
