operational, financial, IT, and compliance audit functions for all 8 operating subsidiaries, including a large heath and life
insurer, a consumer finance company, 4 property/casualty companies, 2 service companies, and 3 employee benefit plans.
As the chief compliance officer, managed overall corporate compliance auditing function, acting as liaison between
company and all outside examiners. Administered audits of 2 independent certified public accounting firms. Coordinated
state insurance department financial and market conduct examinations, various state rate examinations, and all other outside
agency reviews. Served as chairman of the company’s credit union supervisory board.

Successfully automated Internal Audit Department with desktop PCs, laptops, and audit software, significantly
