PeopleSoft 8.9 Upgrade: Performed maintenance and support functions for PeopleSoft 8.3 HRMS system during
upgrade to HCM 8.9. In support of the 8.9 upgrade, designed and developed an in-house archiving solution for
PeopleSoft 8.3 pay and balance tables utilizing Application Engine. Developed batch programs using COBOL and
SQR to validate that the 8.3 Job table date columns were mapped and converted correctly to the proper 8.9 table
columns. Developed multiple SQRs to extract and compare PeopleSoft 8.3 table row counts to PeopleSoft 8.9 row
counts for upgrade validation purposes.
PeopleSoft 8.3 Upgrade: Served as Technical Infrastructure Team Lead responsible for successful implementation of
system architecture for PeopleSoft HRMS/Payroll system merger and upgrade to HRMS 8.3. Completed PeopleTools
upgrade to PeopleTools 8.18 from PeopleTools 8.17. Implemented all tax updates for tax year 2002. Performed fail-
over and stress testing of servers for production implementation. Developed custom SQR’s to identify object
customizations prior to Tax Upgrades.

Designed and developed mainframe COBOL batch processes to automatically load third-party competitor pricing
data into DB2 and Teradata databases. This data is used as input to Teradata and SAS Price Modeling algorithms to
ensure competitive pricing on Wal-Mart grocery items. Processes were developed using DB2, COBOL, JCL, SAS,
Easytrieve, IMS databases, Teradata Pump (TPUMP), Teradata MultiLoad (MLOAD), and Basic Teradata Query
Language (BTEQ).

Consultant responsible for design and development of conversions and interfaces in support of PeopleSoft Accounts
Payable 8.4 module implementation. Developed programs to convert legacy Vendor information into PeopleSoft
Vendor tables. Developed Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) extract program to extract PeopleSoft Accounts Payable
transactions for transmission to the bank (EDI format 820). Developed batch JCL to execute PeopleSoft delivered
Accounts Payable Pay Cycle processes through mainframe z/OS scheduler and Unix System Services. Processes were

programs, and approximately 40% batch report entity and control break processing programs.
Developed online and batch programs for an in-house solution to automate the process of adding and maintaining
system user ids. This system creates direct interface feeds to update user id information in TSO, CA-Top Secret, CA-
Dispatch, DB2, and EMC2 (email).
