To whom it may concern:
I am very interested in joining your team. I believe that I would make a substantial contribution
to your company if given the opportunity.
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Drafting and Design from Tennessee Technology and have
completed 72 credit hours towards a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. As evidenced from my
educational and professional backgrounds, I possess a continuous learning orientation, and enjoy
mastering new skills.
I am flexible and am able to adapt to new situations as these skills are an integral part of my
current position as a Construction Services Manager for Coast 2 Coast Surveys. My daily
activities vary greatly from general management, research and development, consultant training,
hiring, sales and a myriad of other duties. In an increasingly competitive architecture
environment, I have been able to assist departments in my current employment as well as past
employment. In addition, I possess event planning skills as I served on a committee for my
previous employer to plan and market events for over 400 people. These processes were lengthy
year long planning and covered many every aspects from conception to completion as well as
budget management. In addition to my professional event planning experience I also have been
involved with my brothers radio shows events. I have co-hosted, planned and attended several of
these shows in multiple cities at various locations with attendances averaging over 250 per show
that had three or four day durations to the event. I am confident my experience in architecture
management and event planning shows my coordination and management skills would be a great
asset to a position and show that I can adapt and perform under pressure.
I am an optimist, thrive on challenges, lead by example, possess strong problem solving skills
and excellent communication skills, both oral and written. I have attached a copy of my resume
for your review. I am currently seeking other employment closer to my home and family and I
would be able to start work immediately if given the privilege to join the team. Please feel free to
contact me should you have any questions or comments.
Sincerely,
James Lee Kilgore

Lee came to Coast 2 Coast last year and in a short period of time he has taken our department to
a new level of organization and profitability that we had strived to obtain for a few years. He has
shown an exceptional work ethic as well as a want and need to succeed. He is well organized,
full of innovative ideas and generally a well polished individual. We have been nothing but
impressed by his work here with us and would recommend him for the position he is seeking. I
personally hold Lee with the highest professional regard. We severely hate to see him go but we

David Larrew, AIA, GDLa, Director of Automation Technology, Southern Land Company
To whom it may concern:
I worked with Lee Kilgore at Southern Land Company for 1 1/2 years. During that time, he
successfully managed his time, worked in group situations under strict deadlines, and has been
able to recognize the importance of a strong work ethic, showed persistence, and intellectual
integrity. Lee is highly respected by his co-workers for his willingness to help anyone anytime he
can. He has been instrumental in helping institute new company-wide B.I.M./CAD standards and
templates. He also showed great aptitude in learning and helping teach the new B.I.M. software
that was implemented. He was the most valuable member of my Power User team, and a role
model for his colleagues. Lee has done an excellent job and I would highly recommend him for
any position in your company.
Sincerely, David Larrew

Rob Burkhart, Chief Operating Officer, Allied Home Technologies
“Rob Burkhart Vice President of Single Family Architecture Southern Land Company LLC.
Franklin.
TN June 4, 2008"
To whom it may concern:
It is a genuine pleasure and honor for me to recommend Lee Kilgore. Lee worked for me in the
Architecture Department at Southern Land Company, LLC for 2 years. He began here as
Draftsman and continued to serve with increasing skill in the capacity of Community / Project
Manager. During Lee's service with us I interacted frequently with him and depended on him.
Very much a team player, Lee was always punctual. He was dedicated to his work and the job at
hand. Lee demonstrated from early in his tenure that he understood what business is all about. He
was well organized. Almost without exception, he put the project first. I suppose doing well in
business is easy if you are, as he was, driven by quality. Lee is available for new challenges only
because of his desire to learn and grow further. We would love to see him stay, but certainly
understand his need to advance beyond the positions we have available. In closing, let me say I
have no hesitation in recommending Lee Kilgore for any position pertaining to architecture
management. I feel confident he would be an asset to your organization.
Sincerely, Rob Burkhart
