deployment of the Prescriber Validation System (PVS) due to my mathematics and
dBase/FoxPro data background. This system employs complex fuzzy logic to name matching and
address matching, complete with match rules and confidence percentage assigning.

review, and the reporting of adhoc informational results, turning such information into
knowledge by using plain English queries.
Translated into VB .NET applications from Visual FoxPro 8.0; Developed many .NET functional equivalents of
VFP. As a member of the ISBS (Information Systems Business Services) team, took the lead on maintaining and
expanding dBase and FoxPro based programs that supported reporting tools for J. Knipper's Sample
Accountability System, an auditing tool for Pharmaceutical Industry field reps.
Upgraded an aging dBaseV for DOS system into a modern Visual Interface platform using Visual FoxPro
7.0/8.0 allowing pharmaceutical marketing specialists electronic reporting for e-mailing services.
Designed and implemented newly required Audit Trails in the Sample Accountability and PVS system
which resulted in enabling P.D.M.A. CFR Part 11 compliance and augmented the software applications to
exceed Health Care Support Industry standards.
Ported desktop procedural code to an object oriented non-visual com object DLL. (Visual FoxPro) This
allows for successful deployment to SQL servers allowing on line e-sampling with the J. Knipper
MySampleCloset ™ web-ordering platform. This language independent DLL performed effectively,
quickly and was load tolerant.
Prepared desktop software tools for uploading and importing Weekly Data Refreshes from the A.M.A.
J. Knipper is one of only twelve DBL licensees from the AMA in the United States.
