Description:

MARVIN is Warner Home Video data warehouse for reporting Sales, Account Receivables,

shipping and handling data for Warner home video global users. Involved in interface design for

loading incremental transactional and master data from SAP BW and SAP R3 to MARVIN.

Responsibilities:

• Involved in design and development of Business Content Interface (BCI) frame work

which leverages SAP Business Content Extractors. This frame work is designed with

objective to bypass data extraction from SAP BW. BCI Framework is developed using

The Capital Group Companies (CG) is one of the most experienced and successful investment

management organizations. Acted as ETL designer on the MIDAS project designed to provide

‘American Funds’ shareholder transaction and accounts data to the SAP-BW system. This data

was sourced from various source systems including Mainframe, Oracle DWH, Excel and SAP-R/3

using Informatica and delivered to SAP BW. Informatica’s Power connect for SAP was utilized to

extract master data from R/3 to be loaded into Oracle for validation during the transformation

process.

Description:

Finance Base Margin Data Mart is one of the important metric used to support sales reporting in

Finance and Sales operations. This data mart contains Base Margin fact with Base Margin

Granularity at BU/SKU/Day level. The base margin is calculated from Account receivables,

Material transactions and GL transactions of Oracle ERP. Summary reporting of Base Margin

across different dimensions is facilitated by Aggregate tables. The data from Oracle ERP is

consolidated in ODS using Informatica PowerCenter then loaded into Linksys Data Warehouse

(LDW). The Base Margin Measure is analyzed across different dimensions using Siebel

Analytics Dashboards and adhoc reporting is supported by Siebel Answers.

Responsibilities:

• Involved in the design, development and implementation of ETL processes for loading

AR, Material and GL transactions into Operational Data Store and consolidating the data

for Base Margin processing in LDW.

• Designed the dimensional data model for Data Mart using Erwin data Modeler.

• Extensively used Informatica Power Center to create mappings, sessions and

workflows for populating the data into the dimension, facts, and aggregate tables

constantly from different source systems.

The main objective of PACE ODS is to implement outsourcing agreement between Pace Global

System and Sem Materials. Pace Global Systems pays utility invoices for SemMaterials in return

for a fee and sends the data related to the payments to SemMaterials daily. The amounts

processed by Pace Global Systems will be sent to the Oracle Apps general ledger in summary

format for accruals and payments. Accruals entries will be generated daily when Pace Global

Systems processes the invoices. The accrual entries will create the expense entries at a service

& cost centre level and the liability side will be summarized and booked by company and liability

type.

Responsibilities:

• Involved in the design, development and implementation of ETL processes for loading

Utility Charges and Payments data into ODS for General ledger accruals and payment

processing.

Description:

RADAR (Reports Analysis Data Repository) is a central data repository of Asia Pacific region

Image Print Group (APAC IPG). This application consolidates information and facilitates analysis

along subject areas like Shipment, Orders, Forecast, Quota and Revenue, across several

divergent Finance data source. RADAR gets data from RSAP BW (SAP BW), XPRESS (Oracle

DB) and flat files. This data from divergent data sources is consolidated and loaded into SQL

Server database using Informatica Power center. Reports are designed using Business Objects

data reporting tool as per user requirements and scheduled through Broadcast agent. The OLAP

capability is supported by MS-OLAP cubes.

Responsibilities:

• Analyzed the functional requirements and arrived at Technical solution with the help of

Data Modelling methodologies using ERWIN.

• Implemented ETL logic using Informatica Power Center for loading master data and

transaction data into the warehouse for analytical reporting needs of IPG Finance group.

integrated view of their customer data. The JJill MMDB (Multi Channel Marketing Database)

Project is concerned with the extraction of data from the various source files and loading them in

a consistent and integrated database using Informatica as ETL tool. This database is designed to

support the Campaign Management and Decision Support components. MMDB is facilitating ad-

hoc query and reporting via the Business Objects reporting tool & Web Intelligence.
