My work involved researching on various website tools and implementing new features.

Analyzed various “Widget Builders” and implemented WidgetBox for creating Widgets.

Researched various auto complete tools available, specifically Jquery, YUI and scriptacalous, and

implemented auto complete feature using J Query for the www.local-gems.com application.

Analyzed the technology behind email system and developed an email system using cake mail and Zend.

Performed Smoke Testing using Selenium IDE and Unit Testing using PHPUnit on

www.TheStoreBook.com

W orked on integrating the application with Face book.

Coding done on Zend Framework in PHP as the server side scripting language. SQL scripts were

implemented on the MySQL Database.

Civil Engineering Lab Teaching Assistant: NMSU, Las Cruces.

Responsible for maintaining and designing the website for the civil engineering department using PHP and

MySQL (http://acage.nmsu.edu). I also perform systems administration and help students with their tasks.

.NET and Microsoft Access.

AD Network: It is a collection of online advertising inventory, which helps to connect advertisers and publishers

by buying and selling high volume of advertisements. ASP.NET, VB.NET is used f or the front end and SQL

SERVER 2000 for the database. Data from the backend is retrieved by using SQL ODBC connection strings and

security is provided by using SQL OLEDB connection strings.

ACADAMIC PROJECTS:

WebServices Project - Baseline of this project is to pop-up all the available local stores that are available in the

city based on the latitude and longitude entered by the user. Design ed and implemented the database using

MySQL. Developed the java server packages, Servlet/JSP. Designed and developed Java (Swing/AWT) client to

work like an Application. Client side scripting was done using JSP, JavaScript, and HTML.

Reservation System: Designed and implemented a W eb Application for providing a Hotel Reservation System..

PHP is used for storing and retrieving data from the database. This is done by making use of OCI (Oracle Call

Interface) API. OCI provides the most comprehensive access to all the Oracle Database functionality. Created

and executed SQL statements using PHP along with fetching and displa ying results on HTML page.

Data Mining using WEKA: This project is done as part of Data Mining course work which includes Data Mining,

Interpretation of patterns in databases, selecting top genes by class, finding the best classifier/best gene

combination and generating predictions for the test set. W EKA is a collection of machine learning algor ithms for

data mining tasks and contains tools for classification, regression, clustering, association rules, and visualization .
