Was a part of the VMHEAT project, which included development of the HEAT tool for the Virtual
Machines(VM).
Provided support to the existing HEAT/grab systems.
Worked on functional specifications and requirement gathering for VMHEAT.
Designed the flow of the project and the key screens involved.
Was a part of team responsible for developing the database schema required for the VM project.
Took part in the preparation of Project plan, user acceptance testing.
Got a detailed understanding of business functionality and also was the part of the team preparing the

I also took part in the meetings with Sr. Business Analyst and managers and understood various process plans,
business process, and functionality in detail.

Developed and maintained the existing tool HEAT- Host Environment Analysis tool. Done the patching of the
old with the new hardware and software. Upgraded the tool to meet the current requirements as per the client
request. Upgraded the hardware and software infrastructure of the system. The tool was developed in PERL.
Building up of VMware development environments for the application purpose and maintaining those
environments on multiple servers. It also included installation of Linux operating systems, ESX 3.0 Server
configuration and installation.
Done the LINUX and HEAT integration to make it work on the client side, which included setting up the
network protocols and also the system files as per the requirement of the tool. Documented the existing toolsets
that EMC supports.

• A networking project in which a request was sent to the server by the client where server use to
execute the request and send the result back to the client and was displayed on the client screen.
Approaches and Strategies for IS restructuring.
• Had to implement Information Systems at the company which involved understanding of various issues
like the organization hierarchy, culture and management theories and understanding of the current
strategies used.
• Then providing them with the IS solution which can be applied to the different departments of the
