Yale University is a private university in New Haven, Connecticut .Yale is the third-oldest

institution of higher education in the United States .Information Technology Services (ITS)

provides computing and communications infrastructure, services, support, and innovation for

Yale's instructional, research, public service, and administrative programs. As a QA Analyst I

was involved in testing both web based and client server reports.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for preparation of detailed Test Plan based on business and functional

specifications.

• Responsible for converting and testing about 300 brios from Brio 6 to Hyperion 9

• Responsible in testing HR Self -Service reports.

• Responsible for preparing test plans with guidance from our Business Analyst.

S.A.C Capital Advisors LLC is a privately owned financial, multi-strategy, hedge fund, private

asset and investment management firm. It invests in the public equity and fixed income markets

across the globe. Local Currency is a part of the project that deals with the trades, positions and

PnL corresponding to the positions that were booked internationally calculated to the local USD.

PL adjustments is part of the Local currency where in order to make the PnL Calculations

synchronous across two systems Geneva and Panorama over EOM(End Of Month).

Webmonitor is the SAC proprietary tool which displays the Trading activity to the Oops

(Operations). It displays the accurate market data with the corresponding PnL calculations

calculated. As a QA analyst involved in testing the Touchpad application, Trade and Position

Tools.

Responsibilities:

• Attended walkthroughs for reviewing the software requirements and Test Plan proposal.

• Created Test Plans for the Sanity testing, Functionality testing, System Integration

testing.

• Created and maintained Traceability Matrix to ensure the coverage of Test Cases is

complete.

a QA Consultant, I got involved in testing different Co-Brand credit card accounts and other web-

based applications.

Responsibilities:

• Involve in Design and development of test plans based on high-level and detailed design

for Co-Brand Applications in product consolidation.

• Gather data for testing positive and negative scenarios

• Test Co-Brand Applications for product consolidation by creating Test cases, Test

scenarios and Test scripts using Quality Center

Role: QA Tester

The purpose of this package is to computerize the manual procedures being followed by the

company. This software is helpful for the management to have complete information about the

movement of products, about field officers and their work. This facilitates the management to

enhance Sales and Marketing of their products. It helps the HR department towards accessing the

performance of employees and in turn motivates them. The main features of this software were

Product Requisition, Area master, Stockiest Master, Invoice Master, Tour program and Order

Master. The main reports generated in this software are Region Wise Sales, Employees

Performance, and Stockiest Sales Realization .etc

Responsibilities:

• Detailed study of software requirement specification document.

• Analyzed system requirements and developed detailed Test Plans for System Testing.

Project: Leave Processing System

Role: QA Tester

Designed and developed a web based application for Sagar cements, serving almost 500

employees in the company. This module seeks to automate the leave processing system. Any

employee can log on to the central server after proper authentication and then apply for leave.

The employee can also view details like the number of available leaves, maximum accruals; other

details of the companies leave policy, etc. The application is processed and approved or rejected

through a two-stage workflow. The application initially goes to the immediate superior of the

employee and then upon the superior recommendation to the final sanctioning authority. The

database is then updated for the balance of leaves.

Responsibilities:

• Detailed study of software requirement specification document.

• Prepared Test Plans and Test cases based on software requirement document

• Involved in unit testing, integration testing and User acceptance testing.

• Testing was done through different phases, i.e. GUI testing, Functional testing and

Regression testing.

Role: QA Tester

APDDCFL is engaged in producing milk and milk-based products for catering to domestic and

international market through its distribution channel. APDDCFL is computerizing its operations

for improving the efficiency of its business processes and to provide information to the

management for making informed decisions. Project entails study of business processes of

APDDCFL, design, development, testing and implementation at APDDCFL and its units.

It involves implementation and customization at different locations of the client and replication of

data from one location to another location.

Responsibilities:

• Analyzed Business Requirements documentation and developed the test plans for End- to

- end testing.

• Prepared Test plans and test cases based on business and functional Requirements.

• Involved in unit testing, Integration testing, user acceptance testing for various

combinations using Manual and automated scripts.

This system involves accepting the orders from the customers, transporting the products to

customers from warehouses, raising the sales invoice and making collections from the customer.

The system is integrated with Financial Application System of the client by writing relevant data

into financial system. It also allows writing of data by financial system into this system.

Responsibilities:

• Involved in manual and automated Testing.

• Conducted walkthroughs and reviews with designers and developers to establish quality

policy conformance.

• Review the requirements to write Test Cases/ Test plans that would test various

scenarios.
