SUMMARY: As a Sybase and Oracle DBA on Solaris Unix, I have been working for

about 8 years, completed a Data Archive project with a leading investment bank as a

contractor, and with highlight being as a permanent staff in the IT Group Dept of an

energy utility company in Melbourne with team responsibility for Gas Market System,

Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition (SCADA) System, Metering & Settlements

System, and Gas Full Retail Contestability (FRC) Systems, having 45 Sybase ASE,

Replication servers running on various 30 Unix Systems (Sun Solaris and Digital Unix

Servers) and 12 Windows Systems (XP, 2000 and NT servers) in a mixture of

development, testing and production environments using technical products like Veritas
