Overview:
JDSU is a leading provider of optical products and test and measurement solutions for the communications
industry. The IT division at JDSU takes care of the Oracle EBS instances, Siebel OD, De-mantra and other
peripheral applications. JDSU implemented Quoting module as part of project “Pipeline” to provide a complete
end-to-end solution from lead-to-opportunity-to-quote-to-order-to-invoice. By integrating Siebel OnDemand with
Oracle Quoting, increased accuracy for sales and operation data for forecasting is achieved. Also customer
service efficiency is increased by converting quote to orders within a single system.
Contributions & Responsibilities:

Overview:
The CommTest B2B application is currently used to transmit order information between JDS Uniphase
and Contract Manufacturers (CM). This application has been upgraded to be capable to support multiple
CMs in Jan 2009. This application is currently live with Flex Poland in Production. In March of 2009 this
application will be expanded to Five more Contract Manufacturers direct order fulfillment. As the use of
this application is expanded, additional functional requirements have emerged. Some are critical and are
required for SOX/Trade Compliance. Some have been identified as changes that will improve customer
satisfaction, reduce costs or improve the scalability of this solution.

improves the renewal process for users by excluding already-renewed-items & Do-Not-Renew(DNR)-
label-items. It improves user experience & extends user visibility by providing custom filtering, grouping
and sorting functions with download functionalities.
