Conduct platform instruction and practical lab assistance for U.S. Air Force, Navy, and Marine

students in support of the Air and Space Operations Center (AOC). Responsible for creating and

writing lesson plans, student guides, graphical presentations, and practical labs that must adhere

to Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) accreditation and 505th Training Squadron

standards. Lessons cover basic networking concepts, IP addressing, Cisco router and switch

configuration and management, HP OpenView, CiscoWorks, G2 Sidewider Firewall, ISA Proxy

server, SafeNet Security Center VPNs, and overall AOC network management and

troubleshooting.

U.S. Air Force Reserves – Communication-Computer Systems Operator, 919 CS

Nov 06 – Present

Responsible for design, implementation and administration of Cisco router, switch, PIX firewall,

G2 Sidewinder Firewall, VOIP and Windows 2003 Server/Exchange for Initial Communications

Element (ICE) package on both NIPR and SIPR networks. Currently develop local load

procedures for equipment and conduct training for all personnel.

L3 Communications - Network Engineer, 1 Special Operations Squadron (SOCS)

Design, implementation and administration of all base infrastructure systems to include

unclassified and classified networks. Day-to-day activities include monitoring and responding to

NIPR/SIPR trouble tickets assigned to the Network Engineering team, configuration and

installation of new switches/routers, and activation of new network connections as required.

Assists in planning for future expansions, modifications, and other network changes.

Administration.

Conducted evaluations of all 505 TRS instructors to verify that instructional techniques adhere to

Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) and 505 TRS Commander standards. Responsible
